Marcos Martinez is the Spanish Engagement Specialist for the City of Goleta and Spanish translator. He is a proud first-generation Mexican-American with family roots from Oaxaca and Guadalajara, Mexico. With a BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of Denver, Marcos is a dedicated advocate for social equity, community engagement, and the power of public libraries.
