We had a wonderful time at the Summer Splash event, giving copies of Makana es un Regalo / Makana is a Gift to the children who participated in the library's Summer Reading Program. Special guest Makana (seated on the left), the namesake of the book, dropped by to sign copies along with author Janet Lucy (seated on the right). Thank you to all our supporters who made this event possible! We so appreciate your generosity, and the children were delighted with their books! We send all their smiles your way.
